About Ceramic Rings

Most ceramic rings and jewelry are made from titanium carbide, which is sometimes also referred to as high tech ceramic or jewelry ceramic and is a material composed of the metal titanium and a similar number of carbon atoms. Ceramic jewelry can be created with these materials but there are other materials which are also classed as ceramics. High-tech ceramic such as titanium carbide and tungsten carbide are often used for rings and other jewelry. Carbide ceramics have high melting points which make them very strong and durable.
